Job Title: Vice President of Corporate IntegrityPosition Summary: The VP of Corporate Integrity is a senior leader responsible for overseeing Compliance, Corporate Integrity, Risk Management, Performance & Quality Improvement (PQI), Privacy, Internal Audit Processes, and Investigative Processes. We aim to have a leadership and workforce that is reflective of the communities we serve.Benefits: Flexible working options; generous paid time off; up to 14 paid holidays per year; medical dental and vision coverage available; life insurance; 403b with employer matching; health savings account; wellness programs with healthy lifestyle incentives and employee assistance programs.Compensation: $120,000-$140,000 per yearPosition-Specific Duties/Responsibilities:Corporate Integrity/ComplianceProvide executive oversight of the Corporate Compliance Department, Privacy Office, and PQI functionDevelop and oversee a comprehensive corporate integrity and compliance programEnsure adherence to federal, New York State, and local regulations Legal CoordinationServe as liaison to external legal counsel & coordinate legal review of contracts and agreementsConduct preliminary contract review and support document draftingSupport CEO and Board on governance and fiduciary responsibilitiesPerformance & Quality ImprovementOversee PQI strategy, performance measurement, and outcomes trackingEnsure data-driven monitoring of program effectiveness & drive continuous PQI improvementEnsure compliance with funder and regulatory standardsOversee corrective action planningRisk ManagementIdentify, assess, and mitigate organizational risks & develop/implement risk management strategiesOversee insurance programs and act as liaison to carriers and brokersManage claims and risk transfer strategies & advise leadership on risk implicationsPrivacy, Records Management & Information GovernanceEnsure compliance with HIPAA, FERPA, and data protection lawsSupervise privacy functions and handling of confidential informationManage records retention schedules & ensure compliant document destruction practicesAudit & InvestigationsDevelop/oversee internal audit processes & Coordinate with external auditors as appropriateOversee and coordinate internal investigations & support external investigations with legal counsel and regulatorsEnsure documentation and resolution of findingsJustice Center Compliance (NYS)Ensure compliance with NYS Justice Center requirementsOversee incident reporting and trackingSupervise internal reviews and investigations & ensure adherence to timelines and documentation standardsLeadershipDirectly supervise the Corporate Compliance Officer, Privacy Officer, and PQI ManagerServe as a member of the executive leadership teamProvide staff training on compliance, risk, privacy, and PQISupport readiness for audits, investigations, and accreditationAll other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesStrong leadership, communication, and strategic skillsSelf-motivated and detail oriented with excellent verbal and communication skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to build and maintain strong working relationships Ability to travel to all affiliation locationsStrong knowledge of nonprofit and Medicaid complianceExperience with compliance programs, audits, investigations, and PQI systemsQualificationsAdvanced related degree7–10 years of leadership experienceJuris Doctor (JD) preferredFamiliarity with NYS Justice Center requirements preferredAn EEO/AA AgencyWe want to emphasize that the preferred qualifications are not required and that we are committed to helping our future colleagues develop these preferred skills.
