As production grows and automation expands, we need a dedicated CMM Programmer to ensure inspection programs are accurate, efficient, and aligned with GD&T requirements. This role exists to strengthen RPI's inspection infrastructure, improve productivity, and ensure customer drawings are verified with precision and consistency. - The Work You'll Be Doing In this role, you will: Develop, maintain, and optimize CMM programs (PC-DMIS preferred) Set up and operate Hexagon CMM systems to meet inspection requirements Interpret and apply GD&T from engineering drawings Inspect parts per First Article, In-Process, and Final Inspection standards Select and utilize appropriate gauges and measurement tools Review drawings and documentation to ensure inspection criteria are clearly defined Identify ambiguous or outdated GD&T documentation and drive resolution Assist with SolidWorks model updates and file conversions for programming support Coordinate CMM maintenance, calibration, and system upgrades Support the Quality team with additional inspection tasks as needed Contribute ideas for process improvements and inspection efficiency This is a hands-on programming and inspection role within an AS9100-certified environment. - Inspection Equipment & Software You'll work with advanced quality tools and systems including: CMM & Metrology Hexagon CMM Romer Arm (as applicable) Software PC-DMIS (preferred) SolidWorks (model support) ERP-driven documentation systems Measurement Tools Calipers Micrometers Height gauges Standard gauges & indicators - What We're Looking For Required 3+ years of CMM programming experience Experience with PC-DMIS software Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings Experience setting up CMM systems and performing quick program updates Knowledge of AS9100 quality systems Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong communication and collaboration skills Preferred (Not Required) Experience with Romer Arm Ability to assist with quality gauging development Experience updating SolidWorks models Experience supporting vendor quality investigations - Materials You'll Inspect Aluminum Stainless Steel Titanium Inconel Engineering Plastics - Why Quality Professionals Choose Ricaurte Precision Advanced, automated precision machining environment AS9100-certified, process-driven quality culture High-end CMM and inspection systems Complex, meaningful aerospace and advanced manufacturing work Collaborative team across programming, machining, and quality Real opportunity to influence process improvements - Pay, Benefits & Stability $35 – $45 per hour , based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid holidays and PTO Long-term stability in a growing, technology-driven machine shop - Apply Experienced CMM Programmers can apply directly through hireCNC . xtnlbfm Apply now or save this job to review later.
