The Jr. Program Manager will assist senior Program Managers in guiding acquisition programs, ensuring compliance with DoD directives, and supporting modernization initiatives. This position offers an opportunity to work in a classified, high-visibility environment, contributing to the success of complex IT and mission systems.\nJOB SUMMARY: The Junior Program Manager will provide acquisition and program management support to AFNWC and USSTRATCOM programs. Responsibilities include assisting PMs with program execution, analyzing policy guidance, preparing acquisition documentation, and supporting Agile software development processes. This role is critical for maintaining program cost, schedule, and performance objectives while enabling modernization and transformation efforts.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES:\nAssist PMs in ensuring programs comply with DoD directives (DoDI 5000 series, NDAA Section 804) and approved Acquisition Program Baselines.\nSupport analysis of policy issues and guidance from USD(A&S), SAF/AQ, and PEO impacting programs.\nProvide acquisition support to maintain program execution and battle rhythm; assist in developing program schedules and reports.\nReview acquisition documents (e.g., Acquisition Strategies, Risk Management Plans, APBs) and provide comments for consistency and accuracy.\nSupport cost, schedule, and performance tracking; assist in risk management and mitigation.\nPrepare and maintain program documentation, including briefings, reports, and statutory/regulatory submissions (DAES, MAR).\nAssist in implementing Agile software development processes and maintaining software development backlogs.\nSupport user engagement activities, gathering feedback on software features and usability.\nCoordinate and document IPT meetings, PMRs, and technical reviews; prepare agendas and meeting minutes.\nAssist in managing activity-level schedules for acquisition projects and preparing 90-day look-ahead reports.\nSupport delivery and accountability of Government Furnished Information and classified material.\nProvide administrative support for program management processes, including research, data collection, and drafting communications.\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\n10+ years of experience in program management or acquisition support within DoD or government environments.\nKnowledge of DoD acquisition principles, policies, and practices (DoDI 5000 series, NDAA Section 804).\nFamiliarity with Agile software development processes and backlog management.\nStrong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and briefings.\nPREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:\nExperience supporting AFNWC, USSTRATCOM, or similar DoD organizations.\nFamiliarity with JCIDS documentation and Software Acquisition Pathway processes.\nUnderstanding of risk management and cost/schedule analysis techniques.\nAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, classified environment.\nPrior experience in AFNWC/NCC or similar DoD organizations.\nAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, classified environment\nEDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Master’s degree in related field\nREQUIRED CLEARANCE: Top Secret with SCI eligibility\nTRAVEL: TBD\nBenefits Offered: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, parental leave, pet insurance, paid time off, and holidays.\nAbout US: USfalcon has grown from our roots in 1984 to become a mid-tier professional services company supporting a diverse and global customer base of DoD and Federal Agencies.
