This includes managing efforts from the internal team and third-party consultants and construction contractors. The candidate will gather and analyze data to estimate the amount of money, time, materials, and labor required to complete logistics/civil engineering and construction projects. An ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to be part of the team to prepare and submit proposals and execute until project closeout. Experience in construction document preparations including, but not limited to, site planning, grading, drainage, and erosion control.\n\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nNone\n\nDuties/Responsibilities\n\nWork with the manager or Director of Engineering to determine project scope and define requirements.\n\nPrepare cost data for proposals and contract negotiations and support bid process.\n\nOrganize, monitor, and control project costs in accordance with contractual requirements and Company procedures.\n\nProactively advise management when forecasted costs exceed the approved budget.\n\nCommunicate effectively with suppliers to ensure proposed scope of work is understood.\n\nManage consultants and contractors through project execution.\n\nInterpolate survey designs and LiDAR.\n\nKnowledge of logistics/civil engineering processes and materials.\n\nOn-site support on projects on an as-needed basis.\n\nDiscuss and work with governing bodies (e.g. DOT and Counties). Communication with DOT entities and customer representatives.\n\nAnalytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.\n\nAptitude to succeed in fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.\n\nManages projects effectively from proposal to close-out and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).\n\nComprehensive understanding of internal team processes and project timelines with the goal of managing assigned projects from conception to delivery independently.\n\nAbility to lead external facing calls and speak knowledgeably to projects assigned to them with suppliers and the customer.\n\nKnowledge of industry related information and technologies, including WTG components, trailer configurations, and OEM sourcing strategies.\n\nExcellent knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to formulate report documents for route feasibility studies.\n\nShows complete understanding in all drone related operations, including ability to configure, operate, and travel with the drone independently to support project requirements as needed.\n\nAbility to travel.
