You will manage multiple active projects and crews while also performing field installations yourself when needed. You must be technically competent enough in the systems listed below to install, troubleshoot, and teach other employees on your team how to perform the work correctly to the standard our industry has come to know us for.\nOur home office is in Tracy, CA, but you will rarely need to report there, because approximately 90% of this position is field-based, with only about 10% being online/office work, which can be done remotely from your home.\nResponsibilities\nManage multiple projects and field crews simultaneously.\nPerform hands-on field installations alongside your crews as needed.\nTrain, teach, and develop employees in proper installation methods.\nCoordinate schedules, materials, equipment, and manpower to keep projects moving and under budget.\nVisit and work at job sites throughout the Bay Area.\nCommunicate effectively with customers, employees, and subcontractors.\nIdentify and solve problems quickly before they impact the project.\nMaintain high standards for workmanship, safety, organization, and job completion.\nTake personal ownership of every project and team under your supervision.\nTechnical Experience\nCandidates should have strong hands-on installation and troubleshooting experience with:\nLocking hardware, including but not limited to cylindrical locks, mortise locks, panic hardware, and magnetic locks.\nAccess control systems\nCCTV / video surveillance systems\nIntrusion detection systems\nFiber optic systems – experience preferred, but not required.\nThis position requires more than familiarity with these systems. You should be comfortable performing the work yourself and competent enough to teach, guide, and troubleshoot alongside the employees you manage.\nWhat We're Looking For\nStrong hands-on experience in security, low-voltage, access control, or related field installations.\nPrevious project management or crew leadership experience.\nExcellent memory and exceptional multitasking skills.\nAbility to manage multiple projects, priorities, and crews at the same time.\nStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nDependable, accountable, and comfortable making decisions in the field.\nSomeone who takes personal responsibility for their projects and crews.\nSomeone who takes genuine pride in the quality of their work.\nComfortable working in an extremely fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.\nWilling and able to spend the majority of the workday traveling between and working at project sites.\nWhat We Offer\nWe are a small company, and we genuinely value and take care of our employees.
