Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.\nWe are looking for a Quality Engineer Assistant or Apprentice to support senior quality engineering and production, and quality assurance teams by ensuring products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. This is an entry-level position focusing on hands-on inspections, documentation, and assisting with continuous improvement projects.\nKey Responsibilities:\nInspections and Testing: Perform pre-production, in-process, incoming, or final inspections using various methods and instruments, and conduct product tests to check for defects.\nDocumentation: Maintain quality records, generate reports, document non-conformances, and update quality documentation.\nProcess Improvement: Assist in identifying opportunities for improvement, Corrective & Preventive Action implementation, and root cause analysis.\nProduction Support: Support production teams with troubleshooting, defect resolution, and ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and Customer Specific Requirements.\nAuditing: Participate in internal quality audits and support external and customer audits.\nData Analysis: Use statistical tools to help analyze manufacturing data and monitor quality trends.\nQualifications and Skills Required\nEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing) or relevant field. Apprenticeships may accept technical diplomas or relevant work experience.\nTechnical Knowledge: Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001, IATF 16949), measurement tools, and ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, etc.\nSoft Skills: Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, good communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.\nSoftware Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with quality management software is preferred.\nThis specific position is open to an Apprenticeship, which would focus on shadowing a senior engineer who provides mentorship for a period of 6-12 months.
