Become a Shared Living Provider and support an adult with a disability with daily living, companionship, and community activities.\nLocation: Central Massachusetts (Worcester County and surrounding areas)\nJob Type: Independent Contractor / Home-Based\nPay Rate: This is a bi-weekly stipend-based arrangement determined by the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services (DDS) based on the level of need of the individual supported. Stipend amounts vary accordingly.\nJob Description:\nMy Choice Programs is seeking caring and reliable individuals, couples, or families to become Shared Living Providers. In this role, you will welcome an adult with a disability into your home and provide daily support while promoting independence and community involvement.\nThis is a unique, home-based opportunity to make a meaningful impact in someone’s life while receiving ongoing support.\nResponsibilities:\nAssist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as cooking, hygiene, and routines\nProvide companionship and encourage social/community participation\nSupport household tasks including grocery shopping, cleaning, and laundry\nHelp with medication reminders and attending medical appointments\nAssist with basic budgeting and daily structure\nProvide reliable transportation to appointments and activities\nRequired:\nValid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and a good driving record\nAbility to pass CORI and fingerprinting background checks\nMust have a spare bedroom available in your home\nWillingness to obtain First Aid/CPR certification\nCompassionate, patient, and dependable\nMUST RESIDE IN MASSACHUSETTS (Per Regulations from the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services)\nBenefits:\nOngoing training and professional support\n24/7 access to program assistance\nCareful matching process for compatibility\nAdditional Information:\nThis is not a traditional hourly position.
