We're a lean, experienced team, headquartered in Orlando with hiring focused in Florida and Georgia.\n\nAbout the Role\nThe Lead Quality Assurance Engineer will build out dedicated quality ownership for our products, our AWS-hosted, AI/ML-driven risk platform delivered through app.eolas.co and our companion mobile app.\nThis is an automation-first role. We lean on Playwright to keep coverage scalable, and use manual and exploratory testing deliberately, for what automation doesn't reach yet.\n\nWhat You'll Do\nQuality Strategy & Ownership\nBuild and own the QA strategy across web and mobile, replacing ad hoc coverage with a consistent, repeatable process.\nDefine test plans, coverage standards, and quality gates for every release.\nPartner with engineering and product leads to shape acceptance criteria before work starts, not after.\nTest Automation & Execution\nDesign and maintain automated test suites for regression, integration, and API coverage.\nRun manual and exploratory testing on complex risk workflows and AI/ML-driven features.\nOwn bug triage, tracking, and reporting through to resolution.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nWork closely with frontend, backend, and product teams to catch issues early in the cycle.\nValidate integrations with client property management systems.\nSupport release readiness reviews and go/no-go calls.\nProcess & Tooling\nSelect and maintain QA tooling, and wire automated testing into CI/CD.\nDefine and track quality metrics, including defect escape rate and test coverage.\nMentor other team members on QA best practices as the function and team grow.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n6+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including experience owning QA for a SaaS product end to end.\nExperience testing across both web and mobile applications.\nProven track record scaling automated test coverage (we use Playwright) - you default to automating, and reach for manual testing when it's the right call, not the first call.\nExperience with API testing and tools like Postman.\nFamiliarity with AWS-hosted applications and CI/CD pipelines.\nComfort testing AI/ML-driven features and the data pipelines behind them.\nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical issues for cross-functional teams.\nA strong problem-solving mindset and a bias toward action in a fast-paced, agile environment.\n\nWhy Eolas?\nOwnership from day one.
