ReqID: 10444291Job Description:Design, deploy, operate, and scale multi-region Cockroach DB clusters in production environmentsEnsure high availability, fault tolerance, and data consistency for globally distributed clustersMonitor cluster health, latency, replication status, and resource utilization using observability toolsPerform capacity planning and proactive scaling for future growthTroubleshoot complex database and infrastructure issues including:Node failuresNetwork partitionsLeaseholder and range imbalanceReplication lagHot spottingHigh latency / throughput bottlenecksDesign disaster recovery strategies (multi-region, backup/restore, failover/fallback)Implement and test backup, restore, and point-in-time recovery processesAutomate provisioning, scaling, patching, and upgrades of CRDB clustersPerform rolling upgrades with zero or near-zero downtimeOptimize SQL query performance and database schema efficiencyCreate operational runbooks, SOPs, and on-call playbooks for CRDBParticipate in on-call rotations and incident response for production clustersIf this opportunity interests you, please respond by clicking on EasyApply.Know someone who would be perfect for this role?
