Apply to the position as Senior Packaging Engineer today!\nAs Senior Packaging Engineer your will, be responsible:\nDesign packaging solutions while utilizing Nefab products and/or sourced materials\nTo demonstrate Experience in the semiconductor/electronics industry, knowledge on semiconductor/electronics packaging, ESD -and cleanroom requirements\nManage design specifications and approval of outsourced design\nAssist with providing packaging technical expertise\nAssess structural requirements, method of transport, long term storage and other specifications\nAssist with packaging evaluations and designs of other engineers or designers and other departments.\nAssist with the gathering of sufficient information to enable drawings\nCreate CAD drawings, assembly instructions and material lists\nAssist managers perform special engineering project assignments\nAssist in understanding material specifications and possible replacement materials as needed\nVisit customers with sales personnel to review technical aspects of customer requirements\nEnsures a solution is delivered within the given parameters; on time, construction demands, and packaging budget\nVisit suppliers as needed and requested by Sourcing\nLead other engineers in projects and Supervise and mentor junior engineers including onboarding\nThis position is located in Newark, CA, and you will report to Engineering Manager.\nYour profile\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering equivalent in experience and education\nProject Management Certification considered an asset\n5-year experience working with CAD programs\nExperience in the semiconductor/electronics industry, knowledge on semiconductor/electronics packaging, ESD - and cleanroom requirements\nExperience designing with steel, wood, corrugate, foam and/or other traded materials is considered an asset, but not required\nProven ability to coordinate tasks of multiple engineers\nProven ability to effectively present information and respond to questions in varied environments\nCompany values and Ways of Working\nOur core values are Simplicity, Empowerment and Respect.
