Flight Software Department.\nAs a member of the Flight Software Department, you’ll get to implement flight software solutions.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of relevant experience;\nOR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 10 years of relevant experience;\nOR a PhD in a STEM discipline with 8 years of relevant experience.\nExperience optimizing intra-SoC distributed processing across integrated FPGA, CPU, and GPU components.\nExpertise with advanced embedded computing platforms for high-performance, real-time processing.\nExperience with modern FPGAs and their integration into embedded systems.\nProven ability to design and implement high-bandwidth (≈20 Gbps) real-time processing solutions.\nDemonstrated skill in minimizing processing latency in heterogeneous compute architectures.\nStrong background in mapping and fitting complex algorithms to fixed hardware configurations.\nKnowledge of hardware–software co-design principles for embedded/compute-intensive systems.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExpertise with NVIDIA Orin Jetson platforms for high-performance, real-time processing.\nAbility to translate MARs into flight software code.\nStrong math proficiency for algorithm development and implementation.\nProficiency in software development and execution for embedded/flight systems.\nUnderstanding of kernel-level concepts (OS, kernel, low-level software).\nExperience working in flight environments (real-time operating systems, flight software constraints).\nExperience integrating software into third-party platforms.\nStrong background in embedded systems development.\nExperience with flight hardware and hardware–software integration.\nHands-on experience implementing algorithms in embedded/flight code.\nFamiliarity with Agile project management practices.\nActive DoD Secret
