This is a chance to make a significant impact at a company that is shaping the future of AI and data management.\nJob Description:\nWe are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer for our Infinia Storage engineering team who will assist with designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable backend infrastructure that is used for the QA, Support and Engineering team’s product development. This is a hybrid role and will need to go into the Wheatridge, CO office occassionally.\n\nResponsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:\nUnderstands the importance of monitoring and can implement solutions that will actively notify and try to correct critical infrastructure problems.\nComfortable working with scalable backend infrastructure for QA, Support and Engineering based on VM and container virtualization technologies like KVM, VMware, Docker, Kubernetes, and KubeVirt.\nEnjoys working on computer networks including switches, VPNs, routers, and other physical hardware within a self-managed lab environment.\nCreates complex CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Enterprise through the automated building of code, deploying to multiple environments including bare metal servers, containers on bare metal servers and Kubernetes pods, running repeatable tests in different configuration.\nComfortable using container and orchestration technologies to provide enterprise framework of deploying containers and running services at scale.\nDebug high level failures that an end user might see like service not starting down through the various layers of automation to find root cause in a complex lab environment.\nLeverage programming knowledge to write production level code in Linux Shell, Python, and Go where needed.\nOccasionally perform emergent data center work onsite at our Lab located in Wheat Ridge, CO. and assist in the remediation of critical services and service outages.\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in CS or related technical field with a minimum of 7+ years of relevant industry experience\nDemonstrated knowledge in working within a self-managed lab environment with physical servers, switches, drives, cables, and data center related tools.\nExpertise in Linux systems administration, including managing servers, operating systems, and network configurations.\nProven expertise deploying, maintaining, and extending GitHub Actions or similar CICD environments and their usage.\nExpert in using deployment and automation tools to quickly bring up new systems and recovery failed systems and environments including Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, and MAAS.\nCompensation is based on your specific location, and, for this location the target is approx. $130k plus an annual bonus.
