Here's what we are looking for with this role :\n\nEssential Requirements\n\nStrong experience in embedded development of server control and management systems, with deep understanding of Linux and strong working knowledge of BIOS/BMC firmware.\nFluency in modern networking technology: 400/100Gb, Mellanox InfiniBand, Cisco Nexus, Arista, SFP+ Twinax, Fiber optics, and Dell Networking.\nDeep understanding of Dell Enterprise server and storage technology, including PowerEdge and PE-C server platforms, server BIOS and BMC/iDRAC, switches, PDUs, and serial aggregators.\nKnowledge of IPMI standards and industry-standard system management console solutions.\nKnowledge of cloud/big data software stack models and experience with provisioning and deployment of open-standard software stacks.\nThorough understanding of RedHat and Ubuntu Linux distributions and applicability of Linux-based solutions on enterprise-class dense and traditional server platforms.\nDeployment and provisioning experience with Linux and Windows OS, software stacks, and virtualization technologies such as VMware.\nStrong understanding of relational database management systems (MySQL/Postgres) and management of database servers across multiple global integrator sites.\nStrong ability in organizing and managing multiple projects, tasks, and changing priorities while working independently under aggressive timelines.\nAbility to write and analyze requirements, functional specifications, design specifications, test plans, and other technical documentation.\nWorking ability to drive cross-functional development efforts through conception, planning, implementation, and sustaining.\n\nDesirable Requirements\n\nEight+ years of experience with a BSCE, BSCS, or equivalent degree.\nThorough understanding of appropriate technologies, vendor products, and competitors' offerings, along with working insight and skill to effectively manage cultural differences.\n\nCompensation\n\nDell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices .\n\nThe salary range for this position is $134,400 to $184,800.\n\nBenefits and Perks of Working at Dell Technologies\n\nYour life.
