With ten strategically located sites across the United States, Valence provides a start to finish solution from NDT and chemical processing, to paint and sub-assembly.\nShift Schedule Friday - Sunday 6:00AM - 6:30PM, 36 hours, paid for 40.\nResponsibilities\nPrepare aircraft surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas as required.\nApply primers, paints, and coatings to aircraft surfaces using spray guns, brushes, and other tools.\nEnsure the proper mixing and application of paint materials to achieve desired finish and durability.\nInspect painted surfaces for quality and make necessary touch-ups or corrections.\nFollow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.\nCollaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.\nMaintain accurate records of paint usage and inventory.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in painting or related field preferred.\nProven experience as a painter, preferably in the aerospace industry.\nKnowledge of various paint types, application techniques, and surface preparation methods.\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.\nExcellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nGood communication skills and ability to follow instructions.\nReasonable Accommodations Statement\nTo accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, each essential function satisfactorily.
