The Application Engineer will be instrumental in supporting our sales and project execution teams by providing expert technical guidance, developing tailored solutions, and ensuring the successful integration and performance of our products.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nTechnical Expertise & Solution Development:\nServe as the primary technical point of contact for pre-sales and post-sales activities, leveraging deep knowledge of electrical systems, components, and industry standards.\nAnalyze complex client requirements and develop innovative, practical, and cost-effective electrical solutions that incorporate EAE USA's product offerings.\nPrepare detailed technical proposals, specifications, and submittal packages.\nHands-on Problem Solving & Support:\nProvide hands-on technical support during product implementation, commissioning, and troubleshooting at client sites.\nConduct product demonstrations, workshops, and training sessions for clients and internal teams, showcasing a practical understanding of system operation.\nCollaborate directly with engineering, sales, and operations teams to resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.\nCritical Thinking & Analysis:\nApply strong critical thinking skills to diagnose technical challenges, evaluate alternative solutions, and recommend optimal approaches.\nConduct detailed technical analyses, simulations, and feasibility studies to validate proposed solutions.\nProactively identify potential risks and limitations in proposed designs and develop mitigation strategies.\nCustomer & Internal Collaboration:\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their evolving needs and providing ongoing technical consultation.\nWork closely with the sales team to articulate the technical value proposition of EAE USA's products.\nCollaborate with the R&D and product development teams to provide valuable field feedback for continuous product improvement.\nDocumentation & Reporting:\nCreate comprehensive technical documentation, including application notes, best practices, and user manuals.\nGenerate regular reports on project status, technical challenges, and solution performance.\n\nQualifications\n\nEducation: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.\nExperience:\nMinimum of 5-7 years of direct experience as an Application Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar role within the electrical industry (e.g., power distribution, switchgear, control systems, industrial automation, renewable energy).\nProven track record of success in technical problem-solving and client support.\nSkills:\nElectrical Industry Expertise: In-depth understanding of electrical codes, standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE), circuit design, power electronics, and control systems.\nCritical Thinking: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to dissect complex technical issues into manageable components.\nHands-on Approach: Demonstrated ability to work with electrical equipment, perform installations, conduct testing, and troubleshoot issues in the field.
