We are seeking candidates at levels 2-5.\n\nAs a Project Engineer you will perform:\n\nCost & Schedule Management – Develop, maintain, and track Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and Earned Value Management (EVM) data; generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly cost schedule reports; lead schedule status meetings, EV reviews, and Cost & Schedule Review boards.\n\nStakeholder Coordination – Liaise with Program Management, Engineering, Subcontract Management, Finance, and external suppliers; facilitate cross‑functional tag‑ups (Subcontract Manager, Execution Leads, Director, etc.); drive closure of action items and follow up on “pop up” CAM tasks.\n\nRisk & Opportunity Management – Identify, document, and track contract risks using Active Risk Management; develop mitigation plans and monitor effectiveness; support creation and approval of Non‑Production Requests (NPRs).\n\nTool & Data Stewardship – Utilize VAR, APTS BOE, ADAR Blocks, Empower, IWTA, and Microsoft Project for data capture and analysis; maintain project artifacts in JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint.\n\nFinancial & Procurement Oversight – Review and approve supplier/sub‑invoices and change orders; ensure compliance with financial policies and contract terms.\n\nContinuous Improvement – Recommend process enhancements for CAM activities.\n\nBasic Qualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Engineering or a related technical discipline.\n\nExperience working within a technical product team environment.\n\nFamiliarity with program lifecycle phases, particularly development.\n\nAbility to coordinate across multiple teams and geographic locations.\n\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; US citizenship is required.\n\nDesired Skills\n\nExperience supporting technical integration or coordination across multiple stakeholders.\n\nExposure to Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and Control Account Management.\n\nExperience supporting proposal activities and Basis of Estimate (BOE) development.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables) and PowerPoint.\n\nExperience presenting to internal stakeholders.\n\nFamiliarity with Agile tools and workflows (JIRA, Confluence, Scrum, Kanban).\n\nCAM certification preferred; PMP or other project management certification a plus.\n\nSecurity Clearance\nThis position requires a government security clearance and you must be a U.S. Citizen. Clearance level: Top Secret.\n\nOther Important Information\nOnsite full‑time: The work will be performed at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.\n\nWork Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week to condensed schedules that provide employees with additional time away from the office. These condensed schedules are in addition to paid time off benefits. Schedule for this position: 9x80 every other Friday off.\n\nPay Rate\nThe annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, or Washington DC is $85,500 – $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range will reflect the candidate’s final work location.
