In this position you will operate machines for the wire and cable process to meet customer specifications, as well as, maintaining 5s and working in a safe manner while producing high quality product.\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nManufacturing experience\nBasic math skills, to include fractions and decimals\nMicrometer/caliper experience preferred\nEffective communication, includes speaking, writing, active listening and taking instruction\nAbility to pass an initial drug screening and background check\nReliable transportation\nCompetencies:\nMechanical abilities\nLeadership skills\nSelf-Motivation\nEthical Conduct\nCommunication Proficiency\nResults Driven\nInitiative\nTime Management\nTask Completion\nWork Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. Required Personal Protective Equipment is provided and required.\nPhysical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee may be required to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.\nPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, 12 hours per day. Night shift: 6p-6a.
