Job DescriptionField Service EngineerGavinHeath is partnering with a client in Williston, ND looking to add a Field Service Engineer to their team. The role is a contract position.Responsibilities :Diagnose errors or technical problems through PLC interface(s).Identify proper action with remote technical support as neededManage and commence all on site repair, maintenance and test tasks within prescribed scheduleDocument service processes and field maintenance/repairsWilling to work in remote locations and respond to unit call out (company vehicle provided)Qualifications :Proven experience working with electrical systemsAbility to use PC's for data logging and troubleshootingAbility to work flexible hours and adapt to changing work schedulesAbility to lift 50 lbsAttention to details, especially in diagnosing and resolving field issuesWorking in a changing team environment (Rotating work schedule)Willing to learn mechanical and electrical systems & components, including controlsDemonstrated writing/documenting skills to communicate field service processCurrent and valid driver's license(s)PREFERRED:Direct experience with gas turbines and/or reciprocating engines is desirable.Experience in oil and gas related maintenance and a strong mechanical background.Proven field service experience with complex equipment a plusDirect experience with PLC's and ladder logic is desirableProvide service and customer support during field visitsGavinHeath is an equal opportunity employer.
