Works closely with other departments to determine, analyze and eliminate problems within the production environment. Responsible for ensuring that company policy and procedures are enforced and adhered to.\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nProvides leadership, direction and oversight to the Production Team to ensure company objectives are attained regarding Safety, Quality and Delivery.\n\nAssigns work assignments to the Team Leaders and Production Employees. .\n\nEnsures safety procedures are followed in order to promote personal safety and the safety of others.\n\nPractices strong engagement with direct reports and team members including accepting diversity of ideas and thoughts, sharing responsibility for success, demonstrating honesty and integrity, helping employees solve problems and showing respect.\n\nCommunicates daily issues and pertinent information to production manager, as needed.\n\nProvides training to Team Leaders and Production Employees, as needed.\n\nFacilitate and document all training for new hires including 90 day and annual reviews.\n\nManage team HRIS approvals Completes all necessary production paperwork.\n\nEnsures 5S duties are performed every day on the floor.\n\nUnderstands, supports and follows all company policies, practices and procedures.\n\nWorks with Management team to develop process improvement opportunities.\n\nPerforms other assignments as directed.\n\nREQUIREMENTS:\n\nFive to seven years production team leader experience preferred;\n\nKnowledge and understanding of lean techniques required;\n\nAvailability and willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed.\n\nCompetitive base salary with Shift differential and ongoing growth opportunities\n\nComplete benefits package:\n\nco. paid HSA medical plan\n\nco. paid dental\n\nco. paid life\n\ndental\n\nlong term disability insurance\n\n3% safe harbor retirement company contribution\n\n20 Paid Time Off days per year, plus 9 holidays\n\nigus is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
