This role serves as the technical liaison between engineering, project management, subcontractors, craft supervision, and clients to ensure electrical systems are installed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and schedule requirements.\nThe Lead Field Engineer provides leadership to field engineers and coordinators while driving productivity, safety, quality, and contract compliance across large-scale industrial, power, data center, renewable energy, or heavy industrial construction projects.\nLocation\nThis will be a 100% travel based position on a turnaround schedule. Candidates will not be required to relocate, but will be expected to travel extensively.\nResponsibilities\nInterpret electrical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.\nSupport installation of power distribution systems, substations, switchgear, transformers, controls, and related electrical infrastructure.\nCoordinate RFIs, field changes, and constructability reviews.\nTrack quantities, production, and project progress.\nAssist with material procurement, delivery coordination, and subcontractor management.\nDevelop and support short-term work plans and project schedules.\nMonitor productivity, costs, and project performance.\nMaintain project documentation, daily reports, RFIs, and as-built records.\nSupport forecasting, change management, and project closeout activities.\nMentor and develop Field Engineers and Coordinators.\nProvide technical guidance to field personnel and craft supervision.\nFoster collaboration between engineering, construction, safety, and quality teams.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.\n5+ years of electrical construction or field engineering experience.\nExperience on industrial, power, utility, renewable energy, data center, or other large-scale electrical construction projects.\nStrong understanding of electrical systems, construction methods, and industry codes and standards.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.\nStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.\n\n#LI-SS1\nOther Requirements:\nRegular, reliable attendance\nWork productively and meet deadlines timely\nCommunicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment.\nPerform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.\nWork during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines.
