In this role, you will enable implementation of the Product Development Roadmap through successfully managing product certifications critical for commercialization. Additionally, this role will ensure proper application of module mounting products into commercial projects, ensuring approved products are properly applied.\nKey Job Responsibilities:\nBe familiar with tracker related certification standards both within the US and internationally (UL2703, UL3703, and IEC62817).\nCoordinate product related certifications with testing laboratories and certifying body.\nObtain product certifications in a timely and cost-effective manner.\nCoordinate activities to test and approve mounting systems with module manufacturers:\nCoordinate mounting component shipments to module suppliers and test labs.\nOrder and maintain parts inventory.\nCoordinate and participate in monthly meetings with PV module suppliers.\nWork with 3rd party testing labs to conduct mechanical load evaluations\nDetermine module and clamp testing requirements and review final reports.\nEnter module manufacturer approval letters into SalesForce database\nSupport Product Management, Civil Engineering, Application Engineering and Business Development departments.\nProvide module clamp recommendations for Array Tech customer projects.\nObtain module company approvals for solar tracker projects.\nMaintain current knowledge of Array’s product portfolio, including new product introduction, (NPI) programs.\nStay up to date on emerging, and changing industry standards.\nRepresent Array at codes and standards working group meetings.\nConduct project certification compliance, including site visits and evaluations.\nParticipate in customer meetings to communicate conformance status and requirements.\nAbility to handle multiple tasks with changing deadlines.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (electrical, mechanical, or structural engineering).\n1+ years of technical experience in mechanical, structural, electrical/electromechanical fields.\n3+ years of computer experience expressly in Microsoft Office.\nGood aptitude for electrical, mechanical and structural components.\nAbility to travel occasionally (10-20%).\nPreferred qualifications:\nExperience in utility-scale solar market.\nRelevant certifications, coursework, or degrees.\nFamiliarity with SolidWorks.\nExcellent multi-tasking, organizational, communication, interpersonal and management skills.\nEffectively work as a team member to accomplish company objectives.\nAbility to work across multiple organizations in a fast-paced environment.\n#LI-AB1\n\nAt Array Tech, Inc., we strive to lead with our culture, and believe that our people are a key enabler of our future state.
