From its headquarters in St. Louis, MO, and multiple branch offices throughout the U.S., Trileaf serves the wireless communications, commercial real estate and financial industries.\nLocation: St. Louis, MO (In-office)\nJob Summary:\nThe Controller will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will oversee all company financial activities to ensure smooth financial operations, timely invoicing, collections, payables processing, and expense report processing for the long-term financial health of the corporation and efficient management of financial resources.\nBasic Responsibilities:\nPlan, direct and coordinate all accounting operational functions.\nLead and develop entire accounting team\nManage the accumulation and presentation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of business results and decision-making\nOversee all general ledger activities and the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.\nProtect assets by establishing, monitoring and enforcing internal controls, policies and procedures for company assets, such as expense report software and fleet vehicle management.\nManage day-to-day operations assigned including, but not limited to AP/AR, GL, Month End closing, Payroll, and Contracts\nManage business and financial compliance, including coordinating activities of external auditors for annual insurance and benefit audits\nContinuously identify, rollout, and enhance processes and systems to improve processes within the department\nProtect operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.\nBasic Qualifications:\nStrong leadership skills\nStrong working knowledge of financial reporting software, and the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.\nHighly analytical and detail oriented in interpreting operating results and in developing and implementing improvements or recommendations\nAbility to analyze, prepare, and present financial data and reports\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nExcellent and highly accurate math and accounting skills.\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.\nExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.\nPreferred Qualifications / Experience:\n7+ years of general accounting experience with at least two years in a leadership capacity, supporting & mentoring the accounting team\nCPA designation strongly preferred.\nEducation:\nBA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance\nPhysical Requirements:\nProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.\nMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.\nBenefits:\nHealth, Dental & Vision Insurance\n401k with company match\nShort-term disability, Long-term disability & Life Insurance – 100% Employer paid\n3 weeks of PTO per year\n8 paid holidays plus 1 floating holiday\nThe listed salary range for this position is an expected range.
