Duties include coordinating subcontractors, performing safety checks and providing on-site direction when preparing construction sites.Description Of TasksManage a team of workers, including work schedules, project progress and resource allocation.Create cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials, and other project costs.Collaborate with clients, Project Managers, other construction management to determine budget and timeline.Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliersCreate schedules for workers and subcontractorsHire additional subcontractors and assign work accordinglyMaintain a daily log for the job site’s operations, reporting to management as necessaryMake changes in the operation as necessary to best meet construction deadlinesImplement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficientPosition RequirementsMinimum of 10 years of field experience in the commercial construction industryOSHA 30 preferredDemonstrated leadership abilities to manage and direct on-site project teams to successful completionsPhysical DemandsMust be able to stand, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, crawl, walk, and work at heights for extended periods of time.Use arms and hands to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects.Lift and carry materials weighing 50 to 100 pounds.Climb up and down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects while carrying tools and equipment.Vision – ability to see details at close range and details at a distance (naturally orwith correction) and distinguish colors.Environmental ConditionsMay work outside and exposed to weather.Wear protective or safety equipment, i.e., safety boots/shoes, glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and hard hats.Work in dusty or dirty surroundings.May be exposed to high levels of noise, grease, dust, and a variety of substances that are typically associated with a construction site.BenefitsMedical, dental and vision insuranceFlexible spending accountPaid time off8 Paid Holiday401(k) matchingFlexible scheduleParental leaveProfessional development assistanceThe above description covers the principal duties and responsibilities of the job.
