When that data flows correctly, operators can act on resident feedback in real time. When it doesn't, they're flying blind. You'll own a critical layer while still contributing across front-end and back-end product work as priorities shift.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nBuild, maintain, and extend integrations with property management systems including Yardi, RealPage, and Entrata, handling API communication, authentication, data mapping, and error recovery.\nDesign integration patterns that are reusable across PMS platforms, reducing the effort to onboard new partners and data sources.\nOwn the reliability of production integrations: monitoring, alerting, retry logic, and incident response when pipelines fail or degrade.\nBuild and maintain ETL pipelines that ingest, transform, and load data from external PMS platforms and internal sources into our data infrastructure, including performant SQL transformations.\nPartner with analytics engineering to keep upstream data quality high so downstream dashboards and reporting stay trustworthy.\nContribute across the full stack, from front-end product work to back-end services, as the team's priorities move.\nHOW WE BUILD WITH AI\nAI is part of how we build. We expect engineers to use AI tools thoughtfully in their daily development to move faster and ship better work, while keeping sound engineering judgment. Claude is our primary AI platform.\nWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR\n5+ years of professional software engineering experience.\nTrue full-stack range: comfortable on the front end (JavaScript or TypeScript with a modern framework, Vue preferred, React welcome) and on the back end (services and APIs in Node.js and/or Python).\nStrong SQL and solid relational data fundamentals (joins, CTEs, window functions, indexing).\nExperience designing and consuming REST APIs, including auth flows (OAuth, API keys, token refresh), pagination, rate limiting, and error handling.\nComfortable in AWS (RDS, S3, ECS or Lambda, IAM basics) and using Docker for local development.\nDisciplined with Git, pull requests, CI/CD, testing, and clear documentation.\nMeaningful time spent on integrations, ETL, or data engineering work.\nStrong Python proficiency for building services, scripts, and pipeline logic.\nHOW YOU WORK\nOwnership mindset: you treat what you ship as your responsibility, not just your code.
