Our team values collaboration, responsiveness, and high-quality service delivery.Position OverviewJigsaw Enterprises is seeking an Architectural Technician I to join our Lexington office. This entry-level role supports our architectural and engineering teams in preparing drawings, coordinating project documents, and contributing to design development across a wide variety of project types.Key Responsibilities● Assist in programming, schematic design, and design development, including developing buildable and code compliant design concepts.● Assist in developing construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and schedules.● Support construction administration activities, including reviewing submittals, coordinating with consultants, and conducting site visits, in conjunction with a project architect.● Conduct basic research on materials, products, and code requirements.● Collaborate with internal team members, subcontractors, and external partners.● Utilize Revit and AutoCAD to produce accurate, high-quality drawings.● Assist in creating visualizations: renderings, diagrams, graphics, and presentations.Qualifications● Bachelor’s degree in Architecture OR a degree from a technical college in drafting, design, or a related field.● Proficiency in Revit and experience in AutoCAD.● Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.● Basic computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and email.● Strong interpersonal and communication skills.● Ability to work in-person at the Lexington, KY office.● Experience producing architectural drawings in a professional or academic setting (preferred).● Familiarity with construction methods, building codes, and project coordination (preferred).Who We’re Looking For● Someone eager to learn, grow, and contribute to meaningful projects across Central Appalachia.● A self-motivated, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative environment.
