In this role, you will be responsible for performing and maintaining OID mappings, validating their accuracy, and aligning them with relevant standards and control frameworks. You will conduct in-depth reviews of compliance controls to ensure proper coverage, effectiveness, and traceability. A key component of the position involves identifying opportunities to automate OID mapping processes, designing and implementing automation solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.\nLocation - We are flexible on remote working from home, if you are located in the USA and reside in one of the following states - CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, *IL, KS, ME, MA, MD, NJ, NC, NY, OR, TN, TX, VA, & WA.\n\nWhat You’ll be Doing\nResearch, collect, and maintain accurate OID mappings to our existing data model\nMaintain alignment with security frameworks, compliance data, and IT operations standards.\nEngaging with the engineering team to implement and test mappings on virtual hardware and devices as needed.\nConduct compliance control reviews to ensure coverage, traceability, and alignment with compliance and industry best practices.\nDesign, develop, and implement automation solutions to streamline OID mapping, control validation, and content production workflows.\nBuild and maintain structured technical content and scripting enhancements for IT operations software products.\nResearch emerging IT operations standards and security best practices; design and standardize new mappings and frameworks within the product.\nContinuously improve and update the content database through research, gap analysis, quality assurance, and process optimization initiatives.\nOther duties as needed\n\nAbout You\n1–2 years of experience in an MSP or enterprise IT environment supporting Windows and/or Linux systems.\n1-2 years of experience in developing PowerShell scripts to automate tasks and troubleshooting.\nFoundational knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, endpoints, networking, and managed services tools.\nBasic understanding of vulnerability management, patching, and security control concepts.\nFamiliarity with core networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and device troubleshooting.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.\nAbility to research technical documentation and clearly document processes and findings.\nMotivated to learn, improve processes, and contribute to automation initiatives.\n\nAbout Us\nNinjaOne unifies IT to simplify work for more than 35,000 customers in 140+ countries.
