This is a key leadership role, collaborating across departments to continuously improve safety performance and environmental impact at our sawmill facilities.Key Responsibilities:Safety Leadership: Oversee and manage all safety programs, ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into workplace accidents, injuries, and near-misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent future incidents.Training Programs: Develop, deliver, and maintain employee training programs on safety practices, emergency procedures, and environmental awareness.Environmental Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental regulations, including air quality, water discharge, and waste management.
