This program provides long term support for female adolescents (5-13 years old). In this program, the population served will receive housing, therapeutic, emotional, and educational support with a goal to develop healthy and fulfilling relationships that will solidify skills and apply them to real world settings.\n\nThe Program Supervisor assists the Program Manager (PM) with the oversight of their assigned group home. The youths we service are referred to by the Department of Children and Families (DCF). The youth referred to the program will have complex mental health, medical, cognitive and behavioral challenges. Many of the youth have families struggling with a range of issues including substance abuse, domestic violence and mental health concerns, as well as economic stressors. The Program Supervisor assists in the completion of these processes and ensures that the maximum integration of CHD services are being carried out efficiently and effectively.\n\nThe Program Supervisor works within the Agency's team model, establishing open communication, support and accountability among program staff. They assist in the overall functioning of the program to meet the needs of the youth and their families. They will provide supervision to the staff ensuring that the policies and procedures of the program are being followed and that the staff receive information, training, and guidance that promotes their growth and development. In the absence of the PM the Program Supervisor will assume the roles and responsibilities of the PM.\n\nRequirements\n\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution preferred. (Can be substituted w/experience).\n\nMinimum of 3 years of residential and/or supervisory experience preferred.\n\nExperience working with youth and their families.\n\nExperience in community child welfare and mental health programming.\n\nDriver’s license required.\n\nHave a legally registered & insured car for work use.\n\nSchedule\nTuesday through Saturday 1-9 pm\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nThe pay rate is $46,800.
