The person in this role will assist with the day-to-day operations through providing management support throughout the plant. The shift supervisor will also assist with training employees, enforcing company policies and procedures, and will ensure that quality standards are being met.\nResponsibilities:\nProvide management support through supervising the plant workers' activities including training employees, determining methods for employee work, and scheduling.\nMonitor and maintain processing supply inventory through completing orders of supplies and documenting amount of supplies on hand.\nEnforce company policies and procedures.\nDevelop and manage projects as assigned.\nAttend company meetings.\nPerform other duties as assigned by management.\nRequirements:\nExperience in supervising employees through training and motivating.\nStrong critical thinking and problem solving skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nExperience using computers and other office equipment.\nCapable of sound decision making.\nGreat team player and takes initiative.\nMechanically savvy\nSafety conscientious.\nHighly organized and strong attention to detail.\nCapable of working with diverse group of individuals.\nKnowledge of hazard communication standards and PSM, preferred.\nAble to communicate with customers, co-workers, and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner.\nFive years or equivalent in related field is preferred.\nMinimum of a high school education or equivalent is required.
