You will work closely with our engineering teams to streamline software compilation, delivery, and operational processes—ensuring a secure, scalable, and reliable environment that supports millions of transactions per day.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nAutomate and manage cloud environments, with a primary focus on AWS.\n\nLead the International DevOps team by setting priorities, coaching engineers, and aligning delivery practices with product and engineering goals.\n\nDesign, deploy, and maintain systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring.\n\nManage CI/CD pipelines and optimize release engineering workflows.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and system issues across environments.\n\nBe part of the on-call rotation for infrastructure alerts and escalations.\n\nDesign and enforce Disaster Recovery (DR) and High Availability (HA) strategies using cloud-native services.\n\nImplement system hardening and security configurations across services and operating systems.\n\nMaintain and evolve infrastructure-as-code practices, automating operational processes.\n\nContinuously assess and improve systems performance, scalability, and security.\n\nContribute to internal documentation, knowledge sharing, and team development.\n\nRequirements\n\nProven experience building, deploying, and operating highly scalable infrastructure in a security-conscious cloud environment. Experience supporting Tier 1 financial institutions with high transaction volumes is a strong plus.\n\nThis is a remote position but does require you to work on East Coast hours.\n\n3–5+ years in a senior or lead capacity (mentoring, owning delivery, setting standards)\n\nExpertise using CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Bitbucket pipeline, Jenkins, Spinnaker) in distributed environments.\n\nExpertise in Kubernetes (preferably CKA certified) for service orchestration and deployment.\n\nStrong scripting or programming skills in tools such as Terraform, Python, Bash, or YAML.\n\nHands-on experience with AWS services.\n\nProficiency with source control systems like Bitbucket or GitHub and tools such as Jira and Confluence.\n\nExperience with monitoring and logging frameworks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).\n\nSolid understanding of DevSecOps, including implementation of \"shift-left security\" and integration of security scanners into CI/CD pipelines.\n\nAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.\n\nGood written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.\n\nAbility to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.\n\nHighly self-motivated and directed.\n\nTeam-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment.\n\nAble to work with different cultures and communicate with international teams.\n\nHamsa is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a fair, inclusive workplace where diverse perspectives strengthen our mission.
