AMERICAS DIRECTOR of SALES for SEMICONDUCTOR mfg

Due to an aggressive growth plan in the US, GNR has been retained by a top-tier International SEMICONDUCTOR organization to identify a strong DIRECTOR of SALES for US & South America!There’s no lack of opportunity, their product portfolio covers every industry - including the most trending technologies; MCUs, Computing Security, Battery Mgmt, Imaging/Sensors, Power Electronics and more.Reporting directly to the US President, you will be responsible for developing strategies to drive revenue, strengthen customer relationships & lead teams to capture additional market share.Manage & mentor a growing team of approx. 10: Account Managers & FAEs throughout the USA.Collaborate with Corporate Executives, Regional Directors, and Marketing department to effectively communicate product roadmaps, ensure successful product launches, and align go-to-market strategies.Monitor performance of partners, ensure they are educated on the product portfolio and application(s).REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE needed:10+ years of SALES LEADERSHIP in the SEMICONDUCTOR sector: Chips, MCUs, Computing Security, Battery Mgmt, Imaging/Sensors, Power ElectronicsExperience partnering with distribution partners, value-added resellers (VARs), and manufacturer's representatives.BS/MS/MBA - strong technical background / engineering degree preferredStrategic thinker, monitor market trends and adapt sales strategies accordingly.50% travel to Corp office, customers, distributors, & rep locations – initially upward of 75% to get established.US Citizenship requiredOFFERING: Attractive base salary + great bonus’ + strong benefits + car allowanceLOCATION: This is an ON-SITE position with Sign-on relocation assistance to the DETROIT, MI region (possibility of Austin, TX depending on what you bring to the table)
