We take on big challenges and are committed to seeing them through to a successful conclusion.\nAbout the Role\nThe Lead Electrical Engineer shall provide General Architectural and Engineering Services (GAES) to perform photometric analyses, perform design lighting upgrades, and prepare construction documents for the installation of new light-emitting diode (LED) lighting at three (3) Metrorail Stations as part of WMATA’s Site Lighting Replacement Program. Individual must be able to demonstrate familiarity with power systems for buildings and facilities.\nKey Responsibilities\nThe scope of work shall include, but not be limited to, the following responsibilities:\nDaytoday technical guidance in the field of Electrical Engineering design, solutions delivery, plans portfolio of projects in various stages of delivery, from development through design, bidding, construction, and close out.\nPerform analysis and inspections on the electrical design work, installations and test reports\nEnsuring timely completion of projects within scope, schedule, and budget.\nEnsure all required permits or agreements with regulatory authorities are secured.\nProvide periodic reporting to various teams, including executive management.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Law, Procurement, Contracts, or a related discipline.\nMinimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in commercial contract management, procurement, or contract administration.\nExperience supporting large capital construction, engineering, infrastructure, or public sector programs.\nStrong knowledge of procurement practices and contract administration.\nExperience negotiating contracts, administering modifications, and resolving commercial issues.\nExperience reviewing change orders, claims, and contract disputes.\nExcellent analytical, negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\nBENEFITS:\nCube Root Corporation offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance\nShortterm and longterm disability coverage\nLife and ADD insurance\n401(k) retirement plan\nPaid time off\nStrong career growth opportunities\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nCube Root Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE AA M/F/VET/DISABILITY).
