Afinitas is a part of BW Forsyth Partners, LLC, the investment arm of Barry-Wehmiller, a $3 billion organization with nearly 12,000 team members united by a common belief: to use the power of business to build a better world.\n\nJob Description:\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nPrepare product for shipping on skids, crates, or boxes\nPick, issue, and/or deliver parts to the production floor\nMaintain parts staging and organization\nWork from production orders/material requisition lists, and/or verbal instructions to identify the disposition of materials\nFill production orders\nAssist with cycle count to maintain inventory accuracy\nOperate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or dollies, to move stock or organize storage\nAttend team meetings; may provide input on material shortages or quality issues\nRegularly and effectively communicate and interact with other team members\nRegular and predictable attendance at the worksite and on any assigned shift or work schedule is required for this position, as is the ability to work frequent overtime. This is not a job that can be performed remotely\nCheck in packages received by matching items with packing lists\nDeliver received packages to the appropriate people if applicable\nPut away received stock orders\nComplete receiver transaction in Infor/LN\nAll other duties as assigned.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\n\nKnowledge or aptitude of perpetual inventory systems\nIntermediate computer aptitude\nFlexibility in job tasks\nProblem-solving skills\nStrong verbal and written interpersonal/communication skills required\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail\nSelf-motivated and goal - oriented\nAbility to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities\nAbility to work individually as well as in a team environment\nWilling to assist in other areas as needed.\nHave good housekeeping and strict adherence to safety.\nTake personal ownership and pride in the quality of work.\n\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\n\nWorks in a plant/manufacturing environment that involves the use of industrial machinery and chemicals.
