This role offers the opportunity to contribute across the software development lifecycle, work within a dispersed team environment, and expand your experience with cloud, automation, and distributed application architectures.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDesign, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications within modern web-based environments.\nTranslate formal and informal system requirements into functional application interfaces and software solutions.\nDevelop backend services and web applications using Java and Angular.\nDesign and implement web services and APIs, including REST and SOAP interfaces.\nAnalyze user and business needs and contribute to software designs that improve operational efficiency.\nWork with application databases using technologies such as JDBC, ODBC, or direct database interfaces.\nParticipate in Scrum teams operating within a Lean Agile Framework, contributing to planning, development, testing, and retrospectives.\nConduct routine quality assurance activities, including peer reviews, software testing, and validation.\nSupport continuous integration, test automation, and DevOps practices using tools such as Git and Jenkins.\nDevelop technical documentation, project artifacts, and status information related to software activities and deliverables.\nCollaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand requirements, communicate solutions, and support successful project delivery.\nContribute to software deployment, maintenance, and sustainment activities throughout the application lifecycle.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nProfessional experience developing enterprise software applications in web-based environments.\nHands-on development experience with Java.\nExperience building user interfaces with Angular.\nDemonstrated experience with web service design and development.\nWorking knowledge of REST and SOAP web services.\nExperience with Git and Jenkins.\nFamiliarity with continuous integration, test automation, and DevOps practices.\nExperience working in Linux environments.\nExperience working as part of a Scrum team within a Lean Agile development framework.\nAbility to translate system requirements into application interfaces and functional software solutions.\nKnowledge of JDBC, ODBC, or direct database interfaces and their use in application development.\nExperience participating in software quality assurance activities, including peer reviews.\nAbility to work effectively within a dispersed or geographically distributed team.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience implementing microservices, with micro front-end experience preferred.\nExperience implementing solutions within AWS cloud environments.\nFamiliarity with AWS services and cloud-based application development.\nExperience developing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines.\nBackground working with distributed data architectures.\nExperience with Puppet module development and/or Terraform.\nExperience supporting ETL tools and data integration workflows.\nExperience working with government customer architecture or engineering review boards.\nAbility to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.\nExperience with application development using RESTful and SOAP-based web services.\nDemonstrated interest in researching emerging technologies and keeping current with industry standards and software development practices.\nExperience supporting Federal Government, Intelligence Community, or other mission-focused technical programs.\n\nPosition Clearance Requirement:\n\nTS/SCI with an FSP\n\nSalary and Benefits Information:\n\nThe salary range for this position is $110,243.00 to $165,787.00. The proposed range is intended as a general guideline. Final compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, location, and contractual considerations and may fall outside of the stated range.
