Our Implementation team is hiring a Program Manager to lead complex integrations with our utility clients. This Program Manager role is a client-facing technical delivery expert, an effective communicator, a trusted advisor, and an influencer of key decisions regarding the benefits of and how to integrate with EnergyHub’s platform.\n\n EnergyHub unlocks value for our utility clients through complex integration with the EnergyHub platform. EnergyHub’s Platform API is designed to support utility-managed distributed energy resource (DER) programs and allows utilities to exchange information with EnergyHub. These integrations are at the forefront of innovation in our sector, enabling:\n\n \n Automated customer validation\n \n \n Association of devices to electric grid locations\n \n \n Improved forecasting, control, and reporting to utilities\n \n\n Success in this role will mean collaboratively guiding EnergyHub’s clients and partners to launch new integrations to the EnergyHub platform and managing those integration efforts through to successful completion.\n\n We are looking for someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, convey the value of integrations to our platform, and manage scope and stakeholders to ensure those integrations succeed. To be impactful in this role, you have a strong technical skill set, are highly organized, and are an excellent communicator.\n\n Qualifications\n\n \n Experience in demand response, API integrations, and communication protocols (e.g., IEEE 2030.5, OpenADR)\n \n \n Strong communication skills - especially external, with customers, partners/vendors, leading technical and implementation overviews\n \n \n Experience with REST API architecture, status codes, authentication\n \n \n A demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively among cross-functional stakeholders\n \n \n Demonstrated ability to communicate complex issues/needs clearly, precisely, and in an actionable manner\n \n \n Experience with cloud-based SaaS products\n \n\n Requirements\n\n \n Manage platform integrations with utility clients and vendors, ensuring on-time delivery of a portfolio of integration projects, including:\n \n \n \n Requirements discovery\n \n \n Scoping\n \n \n Project planning\n \n \n Project management\n \n \n Testing\n \n \n Launch to production\n \n \n \n Champion the value of EnergyHub’s platform APIs and integrations (e.g. OpenADR) by conveying key use cases, benefits, and the overall integration process\n \n \n Provision access to API docs, sandbox environments, testing procedures to ensure full understanding of the integration process\n \n \n Develop repeatable playbooks for integrations of platform systems such as Customer Information Systems, Grid DERMS, and OpenADR dispatches\n \n \n Work with internal stakeholders like Product Management, Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Sales, and Client Success teams to ensure that clients/partners understand the critical path and are kept on track\n \n \n Ensure successful integrations and launches by coordinating with external cross-functional counterparts, specifically program management, engineering, product teams\n \n\n Helpful Skills and Experience\n\n \n Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of experience in technical program management, product management, developer relations, or related roles\n \n \n Energy industry preferred, particularly demand side or DER management\n \n \n An understanding of residential distributed energy resources (DERs), such as smart thermostats, battery energy storage systems, EVs, etc. and their benefits to the grid\n \n \n Familiarity with utility systems such as ADMS, DERMS, SCADA\n \n \n Strong sense of curiosity and a mission to learn\n \n \n Project management experience - tools, frameworks, processes\n \n \n Experience with support tools and systems for external parties to log, prioritize, resolve\n \n\n Benefits\n\n \n Collaborate with outstanding people\n \n \n Make an immediate impact with real responsibility for bringing new technologies to the marketplace\n \n \n Gain well-rounded experience in a diverse and dynamic environment\n \n \n Work with the latest technologies in IoT, SaaS, and machine learning\n \n \n Be part of something important that positively impacts our climate\n \n\n Company Description\n\n EnergyHub empowers utilities and their customers to create a clean, distributed energy future.
