Work closely with multi-lab teams and vendors on advanced electrical engineering for accelerator systems.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nDevelop electrical distribution, control, and diagnostic systems\r\nCreate and review schematics, block diagrams, and wiring/cable drawings (AutoCAD Electrical)\r\nTroubleshoot and test electrical systems with general test equipment\r\nSupport procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning\r\nCoordinate with vendors and technical leads\r\nEnsure designs meet NEC and UL standards\r\nQualifications and Experience\r\nMinimum of a degree in Engineering +10 years experience, or equivalent\r\nExperience with power distribution, instrumentation, and controls in industrial settings\r\nSkilled in electrical testing (oscilloscopes, meters, signal generators)\r\nFamiliarity with NEC and UL standards\r\nStrong communication and team collaboration skills\r\nKnowledge of engineering project workflows and documentation\r\nAn ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q security clearance\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nMasters degree\r\nExperience with linear induction accelerators\r\nPrior work at NNSA-designated laboratories\r\nFamiliarity with high-radiation or high-voltage environments\r\nLocation : This position will be fully on-site at the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS)\r\nTravel : Travel to vendors and NNSS as needed\r\nCompensation & Benefits:\r\nThe expected base salary range for this role is $120,000 - $170,000 USD per year.
