This role supports major construction and infrastructure projects across the United States and offers long-term career growth within a 100% employee-owned engineering consultancy.While standard H-1B sponsorship is not available for this position, TN visa sponsorship may be considered for qualified Canadian and Mexican professionals, making this a strong opportunity for eligible international candidates with construction management expertise.About RoleAs a Construction Management Representative (CMR), you will oversee field execution for a wide range of projects, including building demolition, site restoration, rehabilitation, new construction, utilities, paving, and waterfront works. The position involves extensive site presence and nationwide travel, with monthly living allowances provided for lodging, meals, and related expenses.You will act as the owner’s on-site representative, managing schedules, costs, contractor performance, and safety compliance, while serving as a key liaison between clients, engineers, architects, and construction teams. The company delivers complex public and private infrastructure projects while offering strong professional development pathways and competitive compensation.ResponsibilitiesManage construction schedules from project initiation through closeoutLead on-site meetings and coordinate with contractors, clients, and design teamsReview contractor work to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standardsApprove contractor invoices and monthly requisitionsAdminister change orders and support cost control effortsProvide regular project status updates and issue reportingReview shop drawings and construction documentation for constructabilityEnforce OSHA safety requirements and quality standardsMaintain strong working relationships with all project stakeholdersTravel to remote project locations and support field operations nationwideRequirementsMinimum 5 years’ experience as a Construction Manager, CMR, Owner’s Rep, or SuperintendentOSHA 30-hour Construction Safety certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)Strong knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and safety regulationsProficiency with Microsoft Office and project scheduling tools (Primavera P6 or MS Project)Experience evaluating CPM schedules and negotiating change ordersExcellent written, verbal, and technical documentation skillsAbility to work in field environments and travel extensivelyBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management (preferred)Eligibility for TN visa classification (for international candidates, where applicable)This Construction Management Representative role offers experienced professionals a chance to work on impactful infrastructure projects while advancing their careers within a respected employee-owned firm.
