The entire manufacturing process in our roastery is managed by an operations Manager that works closely with a Roasting Supervisor and a Production supervisor. The Production Supervisor leads the team of people that are processing all roasted coffee - blending, packaging, and shipping. This position manages the daily fulfillment process from production scheduling, product materials inventory, as well as any issues that arise in the production phase of our manufacturing. They assist the operations manager with personnel management by collaboratively participating in hiring, reviews, and other staffing management needs as well as driving employee development to maintain flexibility in departmental staffing. This role includes personnel management, and the Production Supervisor is expected to understand the compatible systems to help make daily fulfillment successful. The Production Supervisor should continually observe the way that roasted coffee is produced and how this function works in our overall business strategy. This person is a self-starter and works proficiently in a team. They can focus on day-to-day issues without losing focus on our bigger goals, they utilize skills to help team members achieve successful outcomes, and they are professionally engaged with the team and company.\n\nApplicants for this position must have some relative manufacturing experience, preferably 5+ years. Ideally, they have experience managing people, inventory, and processes. Supply Chain, Warehouse/ Logistics, food supply chain manufacturing, and/ or barista experience is beneficial.\n\nWe're seeking a candidate that thrives in a challenging, all hands‑on deck environment. This position is in a shared office environment that may accommodate as many as 4 employees at any one time.
