DescriptionJob Title: Program Coordinator - Special ProgramsDepartment: WDE Student ServicesReports To: Business Services Manager/Special Programs ManagerFLSA Status: Salary ExemptGeneral Statement Of DutiesThe Program Coordinator (PC) prepares internal reports which assist the Manager in analyzing effective and efficient operations, The PC is responsible for providing detailed analysis and data reconciliation related to outcomes within the Special Programs and with support departments and partners.Major Duties And ResponsibilitiesInput data on enrollments, retention, certifications, and placement of students in the student database Review monthly audit findings with ManagerManage student time/attendanceEnsure that all applicants meet the program prerequisites for drug screening, background checks, physical exams and driving record as required by the various programsThe (PC) is a member of the orientation team and participates in orientationsThe (PC) is a member of the graduation committee and plans and participates in graduations Enter data and generate reports from student databaseRespond to requests for student recordsWork with workforce ecosystem funding agencies and career center representatives to ensure all data is submitted timely and accurately Order program suppliesPrepare spreadsheets and program reportsInternally and externally promote the Special ProgramsDemonstrate a high standard of professional excellence Performs other duties as assignedSupervision ReceivedPerform duties under the supervision of Business Services Manager/Special Programs ManagerRequirementsSkills and Abilities:High level of analytical and organizational abilities Ability to summarize and model data for measuring performance and trend analysisDetail orientedHighly proficient in MS Excel, MS WORD, MS PowerPointStrong commitment to civil and human rights Strong commitment to guiding students to adhere to standards and to successAdapts rapidly to changing conditions Excellent Customer Service Ability to promote and apply Focus: HOPE Mission in all WDE Programs, operations, and relationships Good communications and facilitation skills Ability to keep information confidential Ability to secure inventory Experience working in a training environment with studentsEducation, Training And ExperienceAssociate’s degree in Finance/Business Management, Computer Science, or equivalent experienceWhat can we offer you for all your hard work?BenefitsPaid Vacation TimePaid Sick Time13 Paid Holidays Per Year401K MatchMedicalDentalVisionLife and AD&D (Employer Paid)Voluntary Life and AD &DAFLAC (Voluntary)Short Term Disability (Voluntary)Long Term Disability (Employer Paid)EAP (Employee Assistance Program)FSA Plan (Flex Spending Account)Paid Parental Leave (Up to 4 Weeks)Focus: HOPE is an equal opportunity employer.
