This role assists in coordinating project activities, maintaining documentation, tracking progress, and ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while fostering string communications across teams.\nPay Range: USD $33.00 - USD $43.00 /Hr. Responsibilities:\nWorks with the Project Manager, project team, and other management; and assists them in all phases and aspects of a project.\nEnsures projects are set up correctly and that proper tools are in place prior to the beginning of a project.\nSecure all necessary permits as requested by the Project Manager, and makes sure contracts, insurance, and bonds are current and received before subcontractor performs any work on site.\nLeads the project team's work efforts in harmony with competing priorities within the company.\nProvides leadership and guidance to assigned projects, ensuring objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.\nGives work direction, prepares and distributes project schedules, and sets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work.\nIdentifies issues for early resolution.\nDetermines and selects corrective action and workaround solutions whenever deviations from project plan are identified.\nInform Project Manager and appropriate management of issues and remediation plans.\nEnsures compliance with all applicable safety and health rules and regulations, company policies, and procedures.\nProvides Project Manager with recommendations for improving tracking, reporting, and monitoring of projects.\nAssists in preparation of periodic management reports.\nMay attend meetings on behalf of Project Manager.\nMay train staff, evaluate performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.\nIn collaboration with the project manager, will assist in providing technical assistance to ensure compliance with applicable standards (e.g., ASTM, ACI, ICC), specifications, and industry best practices.\nPrepare reports and technical documents for internal and external stakeholders.\nParticipate in cross-functional collaboration with engineering, laboratory, safety, and operational teams.\nJob Responsibilities Note:\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. UES retains the right to add to or change the duties of the position at any time.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline; OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.\nFor non-degreed candidates: 3+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, or construction materials testing (CMT) and inspection.\nCertifications in relevant inspection or testing areas preferred (e.g., ACI, ICC, ATTI, Nuclear Safety).\nStrong knowledge of construction materials testing standards (ASTM, AASHTO, etc.) and ability to interpret technical specifications\nValid driver’s license with acceptable driving record\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-specific platforms (e.g., project management, data reporting systems).\nStrong organizational, communication, and analytical skills\nWillingness to travel to job sites and work in diverse environmental conditions\nDemonstrated ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and interface with clients and regulatory bodies effectively.\nTravel Requirements:\nThis position does not require regular travel as part of its primary responsibilities. However, occasional travel may be required, up to 10%, primarily for occasional off-site meetings, training sessions, or company events.
