The engineer will design, implement, and maintain control system software using EPICS for advanced nuclear reactor and related isotopic applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and configuring EPICS IOCs, integrating hardware devices, writing and testing control algorithms, and creating operator interfaces. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, contributing to system architecture and requirements, performing code reviews, and troubleshooting control system issues in laboratory and test environments.
