SQL Developer/Data Analyst Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain T-SQL stored procedures, views, functions, and SSIS packages.Design and implement ETL solutions (SSIS).Conduct unit testing and performance tuning for high-traffic queries.Document code and provide clear status updates to project and development managers.Triage and resolve production support tickets related to missing/incorrect data.Investigate data integrity issues, apply fixes, and recommend long-term solutions.Analyze root causes and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ensure compliance through detailed tracking of fixes and outcomes.Navigate and resolve issues without step-by-step documentation. Required SkillsAdvanced proficiency in T-SQL (CTEs, window functions, joins, dynamic SQL, error handling).Strong experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) in production environments.Proven ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve database issues quickly and safely.Skilled in query optimization and performance tuning.Familiarity with SSIS workflows (modification, debugging, troubleshooting).Solid understanding of data structures, relational modeling, and normalization.Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.Comfortable in a ticket-driven production support environment where timely resolution is critical. Preferred SkillsAdvanced development of T-SQL stored procedures, triggers, and ETL packages.Knowledge of SQL Server 2012 and later.Proficiency in C#, .NET, HTML, or other front-end technologies.Experience with SSRS report development.Strong documentation and communication skills.Ability to elicit data requirements via interviews, workshops, and workflow analysis.Hands-on experience across the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Familiarity with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS). Required Experience5+ years in software development.5+ years in database development.Proficiency with tools such as Visual Studio, Developer Tools, and SSRS.Experience using TFS for source control.Experience with Agile Scrum methodology. Preferred ExperienceBackground in State Government, Medicaid, CHIP, DHR, or healthcare industry. EducationRequired: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.Preferred: SQL certification.
