MARKET SALES LEADER - NJ Overview: GrowGeneration is one of the largest retailers of hydroponic products in the United States and is engaged in the business of marketing and distributing horticultural, organics, lighting, and hydroponics products, including lighting fixtures, nutrients, seeds and growing media, systems, trays, fans, filters, humidifiers and dehumidifiers, timers, instruments, water pumps, irrigation supplies and hand tools. Salary Range: $60K-$70K annually / DOQ Purpose of Position: Generate new sales leads focusing on private label/proprietary brands in the assigned sales territory, provide competitive industry quotes, manage and expand customer relationships and exercise exemplary customer service Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Managing customer accounts Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships Focus sales efforts by studying potential customers and follow-up on leads immediately Generate quotes based on industry standard that are both effective for the company and will make sense for the customer Operate as lead point of contact for any/all matters specific to customers’ account Keep management informed by submitting activity and quantitative reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, weekly sales sheets, customer lead summaries, expense reports, customer lists and completed customer information packets Analyze cultivation facilities and provide solutions to increase efficiency and production Demonstrated competency working with investors, facility operators, cultivators, and purchasers Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, and services Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations Maintain professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and/or participating in professional societies Contribute to a social media presence to promote the experience our customers will have working with you and GrowGeneration Collaborate with internal departments Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing tasks given for the greater good Any other duties as assigned Requirements: Outstanding customer service Excellent listening, negotiating, and presentation skills Highly developed written and verbal communication skills Ability to juggles multiple accounts and projects at a time Work experience using MS office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, Share Point, Skype) Previous work experience in legal cannabis cultivation Extensive industry and product knowledge Understanding client behavior and industry trends Ability to quickly learn and become a solution provider Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical terms Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
