The Program Delivery Director will be responsible for bringing merchandising domain judgment to prioritization, tradeoff decisions, and roadmap discussions with the client. onshore and offshore resources\n\nTechnical / Functional background: Managing Stakeholders, and teams be able to have technical conversations when needed\n\nProgram Delivery Director should be strong in either Java SpringBoot or Oracle PLSQL / Database is Oracle\n\nProgram Delivery Director should have experience with Cloud deployment implementation like GCP or Azure\n\nProgram Delivery Director must come from Retail environment\n\nProgram Delivery Director will oversee and manage ASM (Application Service Management\n\nJob Description:\n\nOwn delivery across application support, enhancements, release planning, sprint governance, velocity, and predictability of commitments.\n\nEnsure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and service quality targets for the support side of the portfolio.\n\nLead major incident management, root cause analysis, and permanent fix ownership for production issues affecting order flow, pricing accuracy, forecasting outputs, and vendor sourcing processes.\n\nRun governance forums including sprint reviews, monthly operational reviews, and executive business reviews.\n\nManage risks, escalations, and mitigation plans with transparency to both client and internal leadership.\n\nCoordinate onsite and offshore teams to maintain seamless execution across time zones.\n\nTrack delivery metrics, resource utilization, and engineering productivity, and act on the trends.\n\nIdentify and drive opportunities for automation, shift-left support, and process optimization.\n\nSupport account growth through demand forecasting, capacity planning, and identification of transformation opportunities.\n\nWork with the in-team people manager on staffing, skills development, and retention.\n\nRequired Skills & Qualifications:\n\nStrong domain experience in retail merchandising, covering areas such as ordering and replenishment, planning and forecasting, pricing, and vendor sourcing, gained at retailers, ecommerce providers, or partners serving them.\n\nProgressive career growth from a software engineering background into engineering leadership, with current scope covering large delivery organizations.\n\nProven experience leading teams of 100+ engineers across onsite-offshore models.\n\nProven experience in overseeing & managing engagements and transitions for large Agile Software Development projects all phases.\n\nAbility to engage client technical leaders as a peer, follow design discussions, ask the right questions, and make sound calls on approach and sequencing without needing others to translate.\n\nExperience leading portfolios that combine mature enterprise applications with cloud-native and data-driven systems, and comfort setting priorities across both.\n\nDeep experience running agile delivery at scale, including scaled frameworks and multi-team release coordination.\n\nStrong stakeholder management and executive communication, with a track record of building trust with senior client leaders.\n\nExperience managing both run and build portfolios, including SLA-governed application support alongside project delivery.\n\nExperience with major incident management and structured escalation handling.\n\nSound commercial awareness covering forecasting, staffing mix, and cost management.\n\nExcellent problem-solving, negotiation, and influencing skills.\n\nMust Have Azure/GCP, Vertex AI, or comparable cloud and ML platforms\n\nITIL-based service management background\n\nPay Range Minimum: 174,000k\n\nPay Range Maximum: 257,000k\n\nCompensation and Benefits\nA candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
