The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber.\nResponsibilities:\nOversee total Program Integration Management for multiple complex projects and major systems, focusing on customer relationships, cost, schedule, and technical planning.\nTrack and report on project status, technical execution, and overall program performance.\nManage high-risk programs with budgets of $20M or greater, involving high customer interaction.\nSupervise program and project staff to ensure successful project outcomes.\nLead proposal tasks from first customer interaction, including defining requirements, creating basis of estimates, negotiating, and securing contract awards.\nParticipate in business resource planning and tracking in coordination with other corporate entities.\nFormulate and lead a team to fulfill program requirements.\nIdentify, track, and resolve program issues and problems.\nManage program risks by identifying, mitigating, tracking, and managing them.\nConduct routine meetings and interface on project/program status.\nDevelop proposals, conduct research and fact-finding, coordinate audits, and negotiate with project/program stakeholders to ensure initiatives meet cost, budget, and schedule constraints.\nSupport the Program Director and Business Operations in fulfilling their responsibilities for the Business Area.\nQualifications You Must Have:\nBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, Management, Engineering or related field.\n8+ years of progressive experience in project or program management in the Aerospace and Defense (A&D) industry.\n3+ years leading medium scale projects; scope spanning 1-2 years, while leading teams made up of 5+ cross functional team members.\nRelevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 12 years of related experience is required.\nHigher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.\nExperience with the evaluation of requests for proposals and/or quotes. Experience with preparing, reviewing, and submitting proposals and/or quotes.\nExperience with managing a complex project or larger program.\nExperience in team building, time management, conflict resolution, communication, briefing, presentation, strategic thinking, marketing, and literacy in the program management disciplines.\nDemonstrated financial acumen to ensure decisions are fiscally sound and responsible.\nRequires ability to execute coordination of all elements of a program, i.e., Program integration management.\nPerform task coordination, resource development, stakeholder identification, etc.\nCapability to manage program lifecycle conflicts, prioritize competing priorities/requests, and evaluate available resources.\nRequires ability to identify, assess, and control financial, technical, and legal risks.\nProficient leadership abilities inclusive of successful change management, mentoring, career development, training, succession planning, holding people accountable, and conducting yearly reviews.\nRequires ability to manage complex situations, delegate authority, lead and inspire your team, drive innovative thinking, instill collaboration, drive for success, challenge status quo, and demonstrate the ability to adapt to dynamic situations.\nQualifications We Prefer:\nProject Management Professional (PMP) Certification (will not be considered in lieu of required experience.)\nAdvanced degree in Business, Management, Engineering or related field (may be considered in lieu of 1 year of required project/program management experience.)\nUnderstanding of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).\nWorking knowledge of Program Management Institute Program Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).\nManaging projects using Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), agile and or spiral development models.\nManaging projects requiring Earned Value Management.\nUnderstanding with application tools and data architectures.\nAbility to reinforce the usage & application of Corporate PM tools.\nAbility to participate in program management (PM) process & tool improvement initiatives for the Business Area.\nAbility to keep program management informed of function & process changes within project controls.\nAbility to enhance program management expertise in the staff.\nAbility to establish new & further refining existing templates, tools, & guidelines for program documentation & execution.\nExperience with ensuring compliance with approved Corporate and ISO 9001:2000 Policies and Processes.\nEssential Functions:\nAbility to work in an office or hybrid environment.\nFrequent use of a computer and standard office equipment.\nMust be able to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.\nOccasional travel may be required to support project needs and team collaboration.\nThis posting will be open for application for a minimum of 5 days and may be extended based on business needs.\nSNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.\nSNC offers a generous benefit package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) with 150% match up to 6%, life insurance, 3 weeks paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more .\nIMPORTANT NOTICE:\nThis position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
