Additionally, they provide day-to-day troubleshooting and assistance to Operations and Maintenance with the site’s electrical and control systems. These responsibilities include developing and leading various activities in the plant aimed at maintaining and improving Safety, Quality, Service, and Cost.\nOpportunities:\nWork autonomously to lead projects, pulling in other to identify opportunities for improvement.\nWork with a team in a collaborative environment.\nResponsibilities:\nProactively identify business risk and initiate improvement plans, taking ownership of the results.\nDevelop, plan, and implement capital improvement projects.\nTake ownership of projects, including managing other stakeholders, creating and holding to project timelines, and managing project budget.\nGenerate complete electrical control system designs, including panel layouts, component selection, programming, etc.\nCoordinate with other departments to implement design changes and modifications\nSupport Maintenance and Operations with electrical projects and troubleshooting of all key systems including PLC’s (Allen Bradley ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix, SLC, and PLC5), Drives (Allen Bradley, Parker/SSD), HMI’s (FactoryTalk View), Plant floor control networks (Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, and DH+), power distribution, and general-purpose industrial controls.\nLead and/or participate in Cross-Functional project teams.\nMentor less-experienced engineers and technicians.
