Eligibility and benefit offerings may vary based on employment status and work location.Qualifications:List the requirements below that are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to successfully accomplish the essential duties of the job.Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprintsAbility to interpret customer specificationsAbility to read, interpret and understand work in-process documentsMath skillsKnowledge in basic electronicsBasic computer knowledge requiredStrong verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivated with a high level of ownership and accountabilityProvides accurate feedback to the department supervisor pertaining to quality issuesLean skills continually drives process improvementsTeam building skillsList preferred job related qualifications if different from above.Must be fluent in English, i.e. speaking, reading, writingList the level of education and/or experience needed to successfully accomplish the essential duties of this job.High School diploma or equivalentFour (4) years- experience in machining, measuring equipment, CNC set-up and program editing.Ability to speak and listen effectively to follow instructions in English.Ability to write and speak complete sentences and understand verbal and written instructions in EnglishResponsibilities:CNC Machinist Duties:Adhere to standard machining practices while complying with company standards for quality and quantity of work.Restore parts to blueprint or customer requirements.Perform safety procedures and general daily housekeeping.Use of all measuring tools.Set up and operate assigned CNC machines.Meet all requirements of CNC/Manual operator.Solve set up problems.Fabricate new or improve existing fixture as needed.Perform safety procedures and general daily housekeeping.Required editing of existing programs.Use of hand tools.Maintain production standards and quality.Assist and train CNC/Manual operators.Regular attendance and punctuality.Perform basic part programming, including tool selection, speeds/feeds, and other pertinent operatives as required.Assist in the training of other operators.Adhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical Standards.Ensures compliance with Company IPM/QPM and ISO quality requirements.Adhere to and support Lean and 5S+1 Principals.Work to Management Operating System standards.General department housekeeping.Perform preventative maintenance on the equipment when required.R&D of new programming.Performing other tasks in the facility, as needed.Operate CMM.
