Registered Nurse Substance Abuse Baltimore, MDMustExperienced Registered NurseExperience in substance abuse and/or rehabilitation settingKnowledge of Safety / Infection risk/ and Regulations Regarding Patient Confidentiality Proficiency in Verbal and in Written Communication SkillsAA Degree or BS Degree requiredValid Maryland license and BLS certifiedDutiesRegistered Nurse follows-up with any patients in need of medical follow-up as determined by review of medical file/documentation.Administer all medications to clients as needed and is responsible for safe and secure storage of all medications.Keep abreast of all State standards for nursing practice in an intermediate care facility and to keep in compliance with these standards at all times.Perform the Nursing Assessment for each client at admission and provide for each client at discharge a care plan for continuing medical conditions.Responsible for orientation of nursing staff, as instructed by the Charge Nurse.Maintains medical forms, clinical records and patient paperwork in a timely mannerMonitor client's complaints and incident'sResponsible for monitoring and follow-up on Infection Control/Surveillance reporting.Maintain a system of client care records; reporting forms, client and service data and any other needed client care information as required.Ensures that all client care services are coordinated and integrated as indicated.Maintains all needed clinical documentation from doctors, nurses, etc.Maintains a multi-disciplinary approach to the delivery of services.All other duties as assignedQuadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
