Additionally, this person will support general production needs in their assigned department. The role supports the organization's commitment to continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and prevention of quality incidents.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nAudit Execution\nConduct audits in assigned production areas according to established protocols.\nComplete all sections of audit documentation accurately and thoroughly (as necessary).\nSubmit completed audit forms to Quality Management or Departmental Supervisor at the end of each shift or audit day.\nIndependently perform quality checks and measurements on critical-to-quality characteristics throughout production runs.\nConduct independent strike box evaluations at the beginning, end of production runs.\nVerify execution of pre-startup quality activities before production begins.\nQuality Issue Identification and Escalation\nIdentify process gaps, non-conformances, and quality risks.\nImmediately notify production supervision when non-compliant conditions are observed.\nWork collaboratively with production personnel to stop production when necessary to prevent the release of defective products.\nEnsure suspect material is identified, isolated, and managed according to Non-Conforming Material Control requirements.\n\nProduction Support As needed.\nProvide support to machine operators in order readiness or machine setup\nAssist in any necessary quality sort activities\nProvide general production support, as needed or as assigned by the departmental manager or supervisor\n\nRequired\nDemonstrated understanding of manufacturing quality systems and quality control practices.\nKnowledge of non-conforming material handling procedures and corrective action processes.\nStrong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work independently and maintain objectivity during audits.\n\nPreferred\nExperience in corrugated packaging manufacturing.\nExperience performing quality audits, inspections, or quality assurance activities.\n\nThis is a full-time, contract opportunity.\n\nSchedule: 1st shift 5am to 1pm\n2nd shift 1pm-9 pm\n3rd shift 9pm- 5 am\nLocation - Devens, Massachusetts 01434\n\nPayrate Range in Between - $19.00- $21.26/hour\nPay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.\nQualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
