This role works closely with program managers, engineers, government stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure technical, schedule, and cost objectives are met. The Project Control Specialist supports project planning, risk, and issues management, reporting, and compliance activities while contributing to technical reviews and program milestones.\n\nEssential Duties:\n\nSupport the maintenance and updates to project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) report requirements.\nCoordinate stakeholder schedules for technical working groups, program management reviews, and equipment requirements meetings.\nDocument design and implementation plans, and participate in test, evaluation, and strategic planning activities\nEnsure compliance with internal customer processes, customer requirements, and quality standards\n\nMinimum Experience, Education and Certification:\n\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience\n1-3 years of experience in project coordination, engineering, or related role\n\nMinimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\n\nStrong organizational skills with attention to detail\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or Jira).\nAbility to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment\nEffective written and verbal communication skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nExperience supporting systems engineering or telecommunications projects\nCoursework or certification in project management (CAPM, PMP, or similar)\n\nPhysical Requirements:\n\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee will operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. The person in this position frequently communicates with end-users, must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 95% of the time.\n\nWork Environment:\n\nWork primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Sedentary, sitting, walking, occasional lifting (overhead waist level from floor), bending, frequent near vision use for reading and computer use, frequently fast paced environment.\n\nThis is not a comprehensive list of duties.
